Local Markets
Fall in Florida is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the cool weather and take a stroll at a local event. In Lakeland, one of the coolest events (according to the AC experts at Acu-Temp) is the Lakeland Downtown Farmers Curb Market. Located on blocks of Downtown Lakeland’s adorable streets, the Lakeland Downtown Farmers Curb Market takes place each Saturday from 8am to 2pm and features local vendors, small businesses and artisans.
Food Truck Rally
If you’re looking for a foodie favorite event that’s close to home, check out Lakeland’s Thursday Squared Food Truck Rally. Visit Munn Park on the second Thursday of each month from 6pm to 9pm and you’ll discover more than 20 food trucks serving up delicacies that are sure to please the whole family. It’s part of Acu-Temp’s cool weather activities you don’t want to miss!
Festivities
Fall festivals are much anticipated events each year. 2019 is no exception to the rule! Across
Central Florida you’ll find a plethora of fun fall festivals! Included in this group is the Harvest Holler Corn Maze in Polk City. It’s fun for the family with a corn maze, animal adventure hayride, tire swings, and fresh lemonade or sweet tea! For the adult family members, you may enjoy an Oktoberfest or two… Winter Haven’s annual event is scheduled in South Central Park on October 18, 2019 from 5:30pm to 9pm. Then there’s always the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival where you can sample food and beverages from all over the world, and the family can enjoy all the entertainment for which this Disney park is famous!
